With the latest technology changes, a DVD which was used for watching movies, etc in most households was later seen as something old and useless. When a person could watch movies, play games and listen to music on a blu ray disc which had more disc space and came with better quality, why would anyone want to bother buying a DVD with lesser storage space?
But all you movie lovers will have better news. The increased high definition effects for both audio and video in the blu ray disc will provide the viewer or listener with an experience of something out of this world. Home theatre has never been better than this. Movie theatres might have to be a bit careful. Many of your favorite older movies will probably be available already and many are sure to follow. The blu ray technology has spread around the globe with positive feedback and a direct hit to the standard DVD market. Consumers who were previously happy with the use of DVD’s to watch movies are now opting for blu ray discs. After all why shouldn’t they? A blu ray disc can give you much more features than a DVD.
