Today’s science can be split into three categories: “useful science”, which converts scientific results into technical outfit and technology; “interesting science”, which generates the magic of consciousness and feeling, and which is diffused by mass media sources; “pure” or theoretic science, which many consider it to be useless and boring.
Certain countries finance poorly science specialized in inventions, or, even if it is being backed solidly, researchers are acting immoderately. However, they feign to be looking for unknown truths, and for that reason must be sponsored by governments. I would say that this money is spent in vain, and this is the financing made by ordinary people
