Twilight is an action-packed, current-day love tale between a teenage girl and a vampire. Before you buy Twilight blu-ray know that it is silly and melodramatic and hard to dislike in much the same way as its target audience, with a distinctly teenage sense of tragedy. It becomes a little silly, at times, especially in the special-effects department, but Stewart and Pattinson are a quite mesmerizing pair, and their nervous, sidelong glances play out a duet of unspoken yearning that might just drive you crazy. With its fascinating combination of banned love and a seductive vampire theme, Twilight may be the beginning of a particularly successful film franchise.
